What is the Alano Club?
In a way, it’s easier to describe what the club isn’t — the club isn’t AA, NA or Alanon, but it is a home for all those 12 Step groups. We host other recovery-oriented events besides meetings such as movie nights and pizza parties.
But, you don’t have to be a member of the club to attend 12 Step meetings. All of the meetings held at the club follow the established 12 Traditions for each group.
You can become a member of the club, which entitles you to vote on issues relating to the club itself — it’s policies and practices.
We are self supporting
When we pass the hat at meetings, a share of those funds goes to the club for rent, the rest is dispersed to the district and national headquarters for AA, NA, etc. according to each group’s decisions at business meetings.
The Alano Club obviously needs funds to maintain its operation. Becoming a dues-paying member is the best way to support the club, but you are also invited to donate any amount
at any time.
We are grateful for your support!
Our club is just like us:
eclectic, with lots of character!
